The Matrix

If you haven't seen Matrix Reloaded yet, you should. There's a party scene at the beginning which is a bit too long, but it is a great time to go take a break for the washroom. You can leave as soon as Morpheous starts talking to the people of Zion.

This movie is a lot of fun to think about. Here's some food for thought after you've seen it:

  • In the first movie, the Oracle says, "Now, what's really going to cook your noodle later on is, would you have still broken that vase if I hadn't told you?" The answer to this question is the obvious one: No. Think about what that means about the Oracle.

  • In Matrix Reloaded, Neo basicly asks one question: What is his purpose? This is a good question to ask about everyone in the movie.

  • At the end of Reloaded, Neo does something that you might think is inconsistant with the meta-physics of the Matrix trilogy. Maybe it's not inconsistant. Think about it.
